Saradnja do Tokija
Jugopetrol EKO benzinske stanice zvanično je gorivo Igara malih zemalja Evrope (IMZE), koje će od 27. maja do 1. juna biti održane u pet crnogorskih gradova, saopšteno je iz Crnogorskog olimpijskog komiteta (COK).
Ugovor o sponzorstvu potpisali su predsjednik COK Dušan Simonović i izvršni direktor Antonis Semelides.
Saopšteno je da je dogovorena saradnja za ovu i narednu godinu, odnosno do Olimpijskih igara u Tokiju.
Simonović se nakon potpisivanja ugovora zahvalio Jugopetrolu na vrijednoj donaciji i snažnoj podršci u organizaciji takmičenja.
On je naglasio da je potpisan za COK izuzetno značaj sponzorski ugovor.
"Jugopetrol Eko je izuzetna kompanija, trudimo se se da u svom pulu imamo samo renomirane i najbolje kompanije. To je značajno sponzorstvo za naš mali, ali uspješan olimpijski komitet. Jako mi je drago što je to kompanija koja dolazi iz Grčke, postojbine olimpijskih igara. U našoj olimpijskoj porodici Grčkoj pripada posebno mjesto. Helenik petroleum, stara Helada i naš novi sponzorski ugovor neka nam budu sa srećom", rekao je Simonović.
On je istakao da je zadovoljan ugovorom i činjenicom da se radi o dvogodišnjoj saradnji.
"Naše družene počinje Igrama malih zemalja Evrope, a zaključićemo ga sa Igrama u Tokiju. Vjerujem da ćemo je nastaviti i poslije Tokija", rekao je Simonović.
On je istakao da je ugovor u vrijednosti zlatnog sponzora COK.
Izvršni direktor Antonis Semelides kazao da se radi o dosta značajnom iznosu, ne želeći da saopšti njegovu tačnu vrijednost.
"Drago nam je da ćemo ove i naredne godine pružiti podršku COK, a na taj način i sport u Crnoj Gori. Ove godine se u Crnoj Gori održava jedan izuzetno važan sportski događaj, u organizaciji COK – Igre malih zemalja Evrope. Naša podrška nastaviće se sljedeće godine, kada se održavaju Igre u Tokiju. Nadam se da će što veći broj sportista i timova izboriti olimpijsku vizu. Mi smo tu da vam pomognemo da ostvarite što bolje rezultate", kazao je Semelidis.

Iz Crne Gore u istoriju: Sportisti iz Vatikana prvi put na međunarodnom takmičenju
Na Igrama malih zemalja Evrope, koje se od 27. maja do 1. juna održavaju u Crnoj Gori, prvi put će se na jednoj sportskoj manifestaciji pojaviti sportisti iz Vatikana.
Vatikan je u septembru 2018. godine potpisao bilateralni sporazum sa Olimpijskim komitetom Italije o formiranju prve sportske asocijacije Svete stolice - Atletskog saveza Vatikana (Athletica Vaticana), a zatim i sa MOK-om.
"Ovo je simboličan, prvi korak ka punom učešću sportista Vatikana na međunarodnim takmičenjima, na kojima će donijeti poruke prijateljstva, bratstva i lojalnosti", kazao je predsjednik Atletskog saveza Vatikana Melhor Sančes de Toka.
Četvoro atletičara iz Vatikana nastupiće na Igrama na poziv Crnogorskog olimpijskog komiteta i Evropskog olimpijskog komiteta.
Oni će na Igrama imati ulogu gostiju, a za dvije godine vjerovatno će biti punopravni članovi organizacije Igre malih zemalja Evrope.

Duško Marković: "Bićemo dobri domaćini"
Svi neophodni preduslovi za uspješno održavanje Igara malih zemalja Evrope biće ispunjeni, saopšteno je nakon sjednice počasnog odbora tog takmičenja, kojim je predsjedavao premijer Duško Marković.
Predsjednik Crnogorskog olimpijskog komiteta Dušan Simonović saopštio je da su državni organi i institucije iz domena svoje nadležnosti preduzeli neophodne aktivnosti kako bi potrebna sportska i druga infrastruktura bila na odličnom nivou. Istaknuto je da su sprovedene sveobuhvatne mjere kako bi događaj, na kojem se očekuje više od dvije hiljade učesnika protekao bezbjedno.
Na sastanku je konstatovano da su rukovodstva gradova u kojima se održavaju igre - Budva, Bar, Tivat, prijestonica Cetinje i glavni grad Podgorica, posvećena obavezama za uspješno odvijanje Igara. Igre malih zemalja biće održane od 27. maja do 1. juna i odlična su prilika za promociju Crne Gore, turističkih potencijala i kulturnog nasljeđa.
Na sastanku je ocijenjeno da će taj događaj biti odličan uvod u predstojeću turističku sezonu.
Na Igrama malih zemalja, koje se u okviru Evropskog olimpijskog komiteta organizuju od 1985. godine, učestvuju države koje imaju manje od milion stanovnika: Andora, Crna Gora, Island, Kipar, Lihtenštajn, Luksemburg, Malta, Monako i San Marino. Takmičenja se organizuju u atletici, boćanju, odbojci, odbojci na pijesku, košarci, plivanju, džudou, streljaštvu, tenisu i stonom tenisu.

Crnogorska priča na sportski način
Svečanom ceremonijom ispod zidina budvanskog Starog grada, večeras će početi najveća sportska manifestacija ikad održana u Crnoj Gori.
Igre malih zemalja Evrope - takmičenje koje će okupiti 846 sportista iz devet država sa manje od milion stanovnika.
Male zemlje, a organizacija kompleksna i složena, u skladu sa standardima najvećih takmičenja pod okriljem Međunarodnog olimpijskog komiteta.
- Spremno dočekujemo Igre malih zemalja. Ovo je veliko takmičenje za nas, prvo multisportsko, ali ovo nije samo sport, već i sjajna promocija Crne Gore - kazao je predsjednik Crnogorskog olimpijskog komiteta Dušan Simonović.
Posebnost Igara malih zemalja, osim njihovog multisportskog karaktera, biće svečana ceremonija, koju je osmislio Nikola Vukčević, a u kojoj će predstaviti najznačajniji trenuci iz crnogorske istorije, kao i dostignuća naših sportista.
- Čeka nas dva sata programa od trenutka ulaska sportista do predstavljanja crnogorske priče - ko smo mi, kako je sve to počelo, gdje je počelo, na koji način se razvijalo, kuda smo sve prošli, kako smo prošli trnoviti put do suverenosti. To je to otprilike, a ostalo neka ostane iznenanđenje, ako nam kiša dozvoli da sve to predstavimo kako smo zamislili - kazao je Simonović.
Svečanoj ceremoniji prisustvovaće državni vrh Crne Gore, kao i visoki gosti - Janez Kocijančič, predsjednik Evropskog olimpijskog komiteta, princ Albert od Monaka, princeza Sofija od Lihtenštajna... Legat Igara biće - bolja sportska infrastruktura.
- Reparirali smo potpuno boćarski i osam teniskih terena u Budvi, a izgradili smo dva nova - jedan za trening i jedan za takmičenje - za odbojku na pijesku. Uradili smo rasvjetu u SC „Župa” u Tivtu, novu sertifikovanu atletsku stazu u Baru, a uredili strelište u Markovićima - kazao je Simonović.
Crna Gora peti put učestvuje na Igrama malih zemalja, a na prethodna četiri takmičenja osvojila je 71 medalju, od čega 35 zlatnih.
Prije dvije godine u San Marinu, crnogorski sportisti su osvojili 31 odličje (13 zlatnih, šest srebrnih i 12 bronzanih), po čemu su bili tek četvrti, iza Luksemburga (98), Kipra (84) i Islanda (60).
- Očekujemo dobre rezultate. Imamo odlične sportiste, istina nisu na ovim igrama najbolji naši timovi i nisu zastupljeni sportovi u kojima smo najjači, ali sam siguran da će biti sjajnih rezultata - rekao je Simonović.
Filip nosi zastavu, Bojana pali plamen
Zastavu Crne Gore na otvaranju Igara nosiće Filip Radović, 18-godišnji stonoteniser.
Radović je najbolji junior na svijetu u para stonom tenisu, a peti u konkurenciji seniora. Mladi Cetinjanin je adut za medalju naše selekcije na stonoteniskom takmičenju u Tivtu.
Olimpijski plamen na ceremoniji otvaranja upaliće slavna rukometašica Bojana Popović.

Otvorene Igre malih zemalja u Budvi
Svečanom ceremonijom u Budvi večeras su otvorene Igre malih zemalja Evrope.
Predsjednik Vlade Crne Gore Duško Marković otvorio je večeras u Budvi Igre malih zemalja Evrope – najveću sportsku manifestaciju organizovanu u našoj zemlji rekavši da su različitosti Evrope – od njenog sjevera do juga – danas okupljene u Crnoj Gori te da uz olimpijski moto „jedinstvo u različitosti“ to predstavlja bogatstvo kakvo tradicionalno baštini i naša zemlja.
„Mi u Crnoj Gori vjerujemo da je različitost zapravo najveće bogatstvo. Na tom temelju je naša država opstala kroz vjekove, njegujući sve naše različitosti u vjeri, nacionalnoj pripadnosti i kulturnom nasljeđu. Dijelimo ideje evropskih vizionara, koji su nakon Drugog svjetskog rata, preokrenuli istorijske tokove, prihvatajući da različitosti nijesu prijetnja; da su one prirodne i da je samo jedan odgovor na njih: da ih poštujemo! Zato je Crna Gora pronašla sebe u društvu zemalja koje dijele te vrijednosti i zato je nakon obnove nezavisnosti, čiju smo trinaestu godišnjicu proslavili prije neki dan, hrabro i bez dvoumljenja krenula putem evropskih i evroatlantskih integracija. Vjerujem da ćete tokom boravka u Crnoj Gori prepoznati taj proevropski entuzijazam kod naših ljudi, ali i naše tradicionalne vrijednosti i posebnosti, na koje smo ponosni i koje s ljubavlju njegujemo. Sve naše različitosti, od krajnjeg sjevera do krajnjeg juga Evrope, okupljene ovih dana na jednom mjestu – to je bogatstvo koje nam donose ove Igre. Zato su ovo, samo u svjetlu brojki Igre malih država. Ali, po mnogo čemu drugom – velikih i posebnih evropskih naroda“, rekao je predsjednik Vlade Duško Marković otvarajući u Budvi Igre malih zemalja Evrope.
Premijer je rekao da organizacija Igara predstavlja posebnu čast za naš Olimpijski komitet, za gradove u kojima će se takmičenja održati i za cijelu Crnu Goru koja od obnove nezavisnosti poseban značaj pridaje sportu u afirmaciji države na međunarodnoj sceni kao i izgradnji sportske infrastrukture širom naše zemlje.
„S posebnom pažnjom se odnosimo prema najmlađim talentima i vrhunskim sportistima, stipendirajući i nagrađujući uspješne, vodeći računa takođe i o osvajačima medalja nakon završetka njihove karijere. Sve se to vraća državi kroz vrhunske uspjehe naših klubova i reprezentacija, nesrazmjerne objektivnoj veličini naše sportske i materijalne baze. Zato mnogi u svijetu Crnu Goru prepoznaju, prije svega, po prirodnim ljepotama i vrhunskim sportistima“, rekao je premijer Duško Marković.
Predsjednik Vlade je poželio sportistima da takmičenja proteknu u duhu viteštva poručujući da u sportu nema malih i velikih, već da svi imaju podjednaku šansu da pobijede.
„Mnogi od vas su sada prvi put u Crnoj Gori. Želim da uživate u ljepotama naše zemlje i gostoprimstvu naših ljudi“ – rekao je premijer i dodao: „Želim da u vašim očima iz Crne Gore ponesete plavetnilo našeg mora i našeg neba, a u vašem srcu crnogorsku iskrenost i prijateljstvo. Želim da se i u budućnosti vraćate Crnoj Gori“.
Predsjednik COK-a Dušan Simonović poželio je srdačnu dobrodošlicu na Igre malih zemalja koje se održavaju u Crnoj Gori.
"Sport je prije svega i više od svega igra. Igra nas spaja i ujedinjuje. Mi ćemo u toku ovih Igara, biti svijet u malom, svijet u kojem se igra. Nije važno da li dolazimo iz malih ili velikih zemalja, bitno je da imamo veliko srce u koje staje strast prema sportu", ocijenio je Simonović.
Otvaranju Igara malih zemalja Evrope prisustvovali su, među ostalim, predsjednik Crne Gore Milo Đukanović, princ Albert od Monaka, regenti San Marina Nikola Selva i Mikele Murator, princeze od Luksemburga i Lihtenštajna, predsjednik Evropskog olimpijskog komiteta Janez Kocijančič te ministri sporta sedam država učesnica.
